About the job

About who needs care: 45-year-old woman with Cerebral Palsy needs help with all activities of daily living, Hoyer lift transfers, experience preferred but not required. Reliable transportation to and from work a must, driver's license a plus, must understand English proficiently. I enjoy movies, music arts and crafts, watching cooking shows and love wrestling. I do not have intellectual disability. The state requires all PCA's to be paid bi-weekly through Tempus Unlimited. THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE PAY POSITION DUE TO THE STATE PROGRAM. Payrate is $19. 50 About the care needs: Must understand English and work closely with client and surrogate. Hoyer (patient lift preferred but not required, paid training. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon AND 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. PM hours somewhat flexible (can do 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. if absolutely necessary. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
