About the job

Uses a wheelchair and walker for mobility and oxygen system for breathing. Many doctor appointments and medications. Loves to cook, enjoys giving instructions as someone else does the actual cooking! She has her wits and loves to share stories and get to know her care-giver. Her garden was her passion, so be ready to water summer flowers and stick a plant or 2 in the ground. She loves to spend time on her patio and read, watch the birds on the feeder, and enjoy the backyard. About the care needs: Please be patient and conversational. Must have clean driving record. Car provided for transporting her to Dr. appointments and social visits. Must be able to handle getting the scooter in and out of car. 2 friendly cats. She can currently transfer, bath, and dress herself. Needs help with shoes. Fresh home from rehab after hip surgery.
