About the job
About who needs care: Single, ninety-plus year-old intelligent and pleasant woman who is mobile with walker. She is a late riser (10:30 to 11:00) who, until recently, would dress and serve herself prepared meals. She may ask for assistance dressing, getting in and out of bed, etc. No heavy lifting involved. She spends a lot of time reading, and the rest watching television and conversing. About the care needs: We need someone talkative, cheery, and upbeat, and capable of raising their voice to speak to a person with hearing loss. Services needed include: 10:30 - 12:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and then 4:00 -5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
