About the job

My mom had her pancreas and spleen removed in March, but recovery been very difficult. She now has Type 1 diabetes and is currently on enteral feeding via J-tube. Hoping to help her get back to her previous life, which involved working full time and various hobbies like playing the violin. About the care needs: Managing Type 1 diabetes (finger sticks, insulin administration) Enteral feeding management (J-tube management, including pausing during night-time bathroom trips, dealing with clogs, flushing the tube periodically during the feeding period) She can be anxious at times, especially at night, so a comforting presence would be helpful. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance. Needing overnight coverage, hours can be somewhat flexible, but bulk of night needed.
