About the job

We're looking for a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide hands-on support for my father in East Sandwich. He was previously independent, using a cane/walker, but recently had a fall resulting in stitches on his knee, hand, and elbow and a stability brace on his leg to protect the stitches. Responsibilities include: Assisting with bathing Preparing simple meals Offering companionship and general supervision during the day VNA nurses will visit periodically for medical care, but we are looking for someone who can be there for 1-2-hour blocks, anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day while I am at work to ensure his safety and comfort. For at least 2-3 weeks potentially longer with reduced days. Requirements: Non-smoker Comfortable with friendly cat If you are kind, patient, and attentive, we'd love to hear from you.
