About the job

About who needs care: Some cognitive decline and blindness. My parents are quite independent and physically sound and capable. My father legally blind but manages his way around their house and the local area. My mother is struggling with short term memory loss altough she is not aware of this decline. They spend their summers in their E. Otis house and like to be at the lake (walking distance to their house). My mother likes to take walks and they are looking for someone to provde interesting conversation, join and encourage them in activities, help to prepare meals and drive them and help grocery shop and any errands. About the care needs: They require someone who is outgoing and encouraging to engage my mother in activities. They are very physically active, and enjoy socializing and have several friends in the community. My parents have strong political views and would not do well with a Trump supporter. Services needed include: transportation.
