About the job

About who needs care: Frail elderly woman with dementia and very hard of hearing. Little interest in things but can be encouraged to do puzzles and play cards. She has daily PT exercises she should be doing. She doesn't drink enough and eats very little. Mostly sweets. About the care needs: Someone who speaks clear English as Mom has such a severe hearing loss, that she doesn't understand folks with accents. Caregiver should be kind but have a way about her that she can get my Mother to engage in doing things. Services needed include: meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing. Assist with her PT exercises. She uses a walker and walks around the house or outside in good weather should be encouraged.
