About the job

Companion/caregiver needed in Overland Park for our dad who experienced a traumatic brain injury. He's independent with walking, stairs, dressing, and hygiene but has memory issues and needs consistent companionship and daily structure. Responsibilities include taking him out to eat each day (he loves restaurants), light housekeeping, helping with meals at home, and spending time with him watching sports or engaging in simple conversation. He does best with a caregiver who has a calm, confident presence, male or a woman with a strong, grounded personality. Vehicle provided for outings, so a clean driving record is required. Occasional overnight or weekend shifts available. Ideal for someone kind, dependable, and looking for meaningful, lower-intensity caregiving. Prior TBI or memory care experience a plus.
