About the job

We seek a compassionate, patient, dementia-trained caregiver to join our care team providing 24/7 support to our 86-year-old mother, who lives in her own home & has Parkinson's Disease & Dementia. SHIFTS Sat 8 a.m. - Sun 8 p.m. Sun 8 a.m. - Mon 8 p.m. Mon 8 a.m. - Tues 8 p.m. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Stay awake all night - Ensure safety & well-being of our mom - Assist with mobility: transfers, walker/wheelchair support, fall prevention - Assist with toileting & dressing - Administer medications - Provide comfort & reassurance during episodes of anxiety - Maintain clean, safe living environment - Work respectfully & cooperatively with the care team IDEAL CANDIDATE - Formal dementia care training - CNA certification - 2+ years caregiving experience - Experience with Parkinson's & moderate dementia - Excellent team skills - Dependable - Non-smoker
