About the job

About who needs care: Isaiah is a Quadriplegic. He was involved in a car accident about 4 years ago that caused his current condition. He does have a trachea, feeding tube, and catheter. However, he is competent and comprehensive. His ideal day is watching his favorite movies and listening to music. He sometimes likes to sit up in his wheelchair and watch tv in the living room, but for the most part he loves being in his room. He communicates well if he is in pain, hungry, etc. He does have a slightly mobile left arm that he uses to communicate on his iPad that is very helpful. About the care needs: An ideal caregiver would be someone whom has a bubbly personality and experienced with patients that have more attentive needs. A licensed nurse, cna, etc. that has at least 2+ years experience (preferred). CPR certified. Someone who is reliable and dependable. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
