About the job

About who needs care: We're looking for extra support for our father, who is currently in a nursing facility. However, we feel he is not receiving the level of hands-on care he truly needs. He has advanced dementia and is no longer able to move on his own. He requires full assistance with tasks such as feeding, mobility, and personal care. While the facility does provide some assistance, due to limited staffing, it is not meeting our expectations. That's why we're looking for extra someone who can help 2-3 times weekly and 2-3 hours: -Mobility support (e. g., bed-to-chair transfers to get fresh air, repositioning, occasional showers etc) -Dementia-aware care with patience and compassion -Ad-hoc help with daily needs as they arise Thank you so much.
