About the job

About who needs care: Health issues include but not limited too: Partial paralysis Spinal cord injury Is in a Wheel chair but does assist with transfers. Has external catheter and does require brief changes. Has a cat and smokes inside. Im looking for a professional warm hearted individual to join my team. This is part time and the individual will get 16 hours a week. Hours would be Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and would 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. as well as Sundays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. I can also use someone to fill in from time to time. Patient is in 70s, veteran, enjoys watching tv and telling stories. Must be willing to distribute bills, house keeping, provide hygiene care, change litter box and feed cat, must be able to transfer patient as well. About the care needs: Must be able to assist with transfers, must have clean background, drug free, be okay with hygiene and incontinent changes, must be able to be on time and work every day that your scheduled, must do house keeping and be able to complete job description. Must be friendly and have a sense of humor but also stay professional. Experience with references are required. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
