About who needs care: My mother needs help for my father while she works part time and runs errands during the day. Ideally, we would hire someone who would not only provide companionship, but would also change his urine bag once or twice a day. Additionally, my mother might need help with light cleaning, cooking and/or running errands. About the care needs: Companion/Caregiver for Aging Parent Part-Time Help Needed We're looking for a dependable, friendly caregiver to help support our aging father. He is mobile with the aid of a rollator but is a fall risk and wears a Foley catheter, so light assistance with emptying his leg bag is required. Ideal candidates are patient, enjoy conversation, and are willing to engage him in light activities like board games or tic-tac-toe to help limit screen time. If you have experience working with seniors and a warm, caring attitude, wed love to hear from you! Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
