About the job

We need companion care to take care of my mother in Palatine. We are looking for someone for 1 day a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays would work. The timeframe is flexible, but 10:00 to 2:00 would be best. She is 95 and mentally and physically healthy. She does use a walker but is otherwise very independent. She just needs a bit of help around the apartment, particularly with laundry - in building laundry facilities - just down the hall. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping, dishes, laundry, etc. Part of your responsibilities might include running errands. Preferences for a caregiver who is CPR / first-aid trained. She lives in a senior, independent living facility.
