About the job
About who needs care: Parkinson's patient that uses walker full time. He is cognitively good but needs someone near him at all times. He spends a good deal of time watching television or on his computer/telephone. Has friends that visit. He'll go out on porch on nice days and even take short walks when he feels strong enough. He does some seated exercises. About the care needs: He does need assistance transferring so someone that is strong would be helpful (although he only weighs 157 he is 6'1"}. He is conservative and a country western music lover. He enjoys getting to know people and will have lots of questions. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
