About the job

About who needs care: My grandfather just went partially blind. He's in very good health for a 94 yr with no maintenance medication but does need someone to check in on him daily for a few hours and possibly help him run errands and help with daily home maintenance activities. Fully mobile. About the care needs: He Is pretty self-sufficient being an old farmer. Really looking for someone friendly, caring, willing to listen and mostly keep him company and check in on him in-between family visiting and helping. Would be nice to have 20 hrs a week (M-F, 12p-4p) to come over to the home mainly to do a daily wellness check and provide some companionship - would be nice to find someone who could do some light cleaning, possibly pick up groceries or run some errands. May need some help with personal tasks, but currently is able to shower, use the restroom and make food for himself. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
