About the job

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for our mother, who has had a stroke and has aphasia. The position is part-time, requiring care three or four days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday or Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Responsibilities: Assist with personal hygiene (brushing teeth, washing hair, bathing) Help with medication management (filling pill organizers) Prepare breakfast and a snack for later in the day Provide light housekeeping (tidying up, dishes, laundry as needed) Offer companionship and engagement Qualifications: Experience in elder care or a related field preferred Patience and understanding of aphasia and stroke recovery needs Ability to assist with mobility and personal care Reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate We look forward to finding the right person to provide care and support!
