About the job

About who needs care: My father is bed ridden and suffers from severe aphasia. My mother lives with him and normally cares for him, with daytime help through an agency, however, she needs to go through with a medical procedure that may require her to stay overnight, and then not be able to lift more than 5 pounds for a week. We are looking for help during that period to stay overnight and assist with caring. During these off hours from his normal care, it would primarily involve changing his diaper, his gown, and feeding him. The other aspects of care are down by his day-time caregiver. About the care needs: No. this is only for a short-term assistance. Services needed include: feeding, and bathing / dressing.
