About the job

We need hands-on care to take care of my grandmother in Chicago. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Some help needed with bathing. We're looking for some help preparing meals. My dad also resides in the basement and offers care to her in the off hours--but, when it comes to dressing/bathing/toileting-- we are hoping to find a kind person who can have compassion and respect for this remarkable woman. She lives on 1 floor-- her bedroom, the living room, bathroom, and kitchen are all on 1 floor. She is very smart, witty, 'With it", kind, and caring. She really appreciates the help and so does our entire family. It is her wish to remain in her home with the time she has left. Outside of her mobility being a bit of a challenge, her health is overall really good. She is very loved by many!
