About the job

About who needs care: My dad has cancer, on oxygen, getting more confused, and a fall hazard. He just needs to be showered, dressed, give afternoon pills which are already sitting out, walk with him to bathroom etc in house to make sure he doesn't fall. About the care needs: Skill in showering elderly, presence to help from falling. My dad's mood changes based on how he feels. He may joke around, or be confused and serious. We do not correct him when he says things that do not make sense. Needs someone friendly and patient Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
