For the moment, his healthy, patient wife just needs occasional-but-routine time away from home to attend to other family. The patient is an early riser who needs activity like walking, conversation and companionship when his wife is away. He tends to look on the bright side as long as there are activities and human engagement. He has friends who check in on him. About the care needs: Happy, calm person who is good at conversation. He is watching more tv these days and loves a certain few shows and movies which we watches over and over. A companion who watches and laughs with him would be ideal. John was a restaurant owner for 45 years, a musician who played in numerous bands and an athlete.
