About the job

About who needs care: My father is an interesting man. He's only 76 but has a myriad of health problems. My father has metastatic cancer of the bladder, hes a brittle diabetic, had a triple bypass in Feb of this year. He is weak and needs help with everyday tasks. He falls from time to time. My mother lives at the house and is in very good health but this has just be overwhelming. He's kind and generous, but demanding. He has a great sense of humor but its sarcastic and this person would need a thick skin. He loves sports and politics - he's a democrat. He loves going for lunch used to play golf. About the care needs: The ideal person would have a great sense of humor, thick skin and enjoy sports. Dad is a passionate Democrat. He also loves going to the casino - so maybe someone who could play cards. Mom needs help with light housekeeping - usually pertainining to messes that dad has made. He has essential tremors and can make a mess while eating. So laundry is a big deal. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
