About the job

About who needs care: Relative fell and fracture a bone in her leg. She had surgery and needs care until she can get back to walking. She is currently getting physical therapy but can't walk on their own yet. So needs someone to be with them overnight that can handle changing the bed pads and cleaning them up. Relative has an aid that works 6 days a week. They have dialysis on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays from 10-3 and return homes at 4 p.m. About the care needs: We are looking for someone with a kind spirit, has Southern hospitality, great communication skills, and is not bothered by bathing and cleaning up someone. We are also looking for someone who will listen to us, to our relative and someone we can feel at ease with. We don't want someone to just sit and watch and wait for their shift to be over. We want someone with a caring heart. The ideal hobbies/interest of the caregiver would include cooking, playing cards, watching movies, going outside to get some fresh air. etc Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
