About who needs care: My dad has a hard time getting around and it is a lot for my mom too handle. They need help with cooking and seeing after my dad. Mom currently cooks breakfast, lunch and dinner for them both. My dad gets out every day to run errands, pick up groceries, etc. My brother lived with them and was their caregiver until he passed away 2 months ago unexpectedly. My mom tries to go with my dad, so he is not alone, but it is a lot for her to do every day. About the care needs: They are devoted Christians. They need to feel safe and comfortable with whoever is in their home. They are friendly but my dad can get a bit cantankerous when he feels like his independence is being taken away. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
