About the job

Live-in home care for my mother in Braselton. Sunday through Wednesday (then adding Saturday) Stroke survivor, right-sided paralysis, Aphasia and uses a wheelchair. Must be compassionate, patient, encouraging, outgoing and able to assist with all ADLs. Continence care and hygiene are crucial, including showering, going to the restroom, and using a Purwick. Duties include grocery shopping, cooking, light housekeeping and laundry, transportation to appointments, and providing companionship and social interaction. Willingness and adaptability to travel occasionally, staying in hotels and rental houses. Must be flexible to cover other shifts occasionally and work with another caregiver. Non-smoker, reliable transportation, comfortable caring for pets occasionally. We are looking for the right fit for our family. $360/day or $15/hr
