About the job

Ready to start! We are seeking an individual who is experienced in providing senior care and who is experienced and comfortable with memory care. We are starting with 3-4 visits/week, several hrs/day; days and times can be flexible as long as they are regular. Our ideal person will easily adapt to our mom's routines, providing assistance as needed while encouraging and giving space for her independence. Job will involve these kinds of care provision: Light Housekeeping, taking a walk with her to the mailbox or beyond, Grocery shopping, occasional meal prep, and Companionship. Attention will be paid to applicants who have experience working with someone who moves slowly but steadily, understanding the need to anticipate movements, clear the pathway, and go at her pace. The provider will be expected to communicate with family regularly.
