About the job

About who needs care: Mother has Multiple Sclerosis and limited mobility. She struggles with incontenace. She is also in denial about her situation and often over medicated. I am looking for temporary assistance for about a week so she can visit and meet her granddaughter for the first time. My father may come but he is not ideal for the level of care she needs during her visit. About the care needs: Compassion, empathy and patience. Personable and sit and talk with her. My family who lives with her treat her as a burden and I just want her to have someone who will understand her pov. She often is embarrassed but there is no reason for that. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
