About the job

About who needs care: My dad has Alzheimers. He and my mom live together but have separate rooms. Dad can walk with a walker but needs assistance with transfers from sitting to standing, with toileting, and bathing. He doesnt have any significant medical conditions other than Alzheimers. He has incontinence and wears Depends, but cant change them or clean himself. He has no dietary restrictions but can no longer cut his own food. About the care needs: Dad enjoys people that smile, have a sense of humor. He doesnt mind people touching him and giving him support with transfers. He likes people to tell him what is going to happen next. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
