About who needs care: He has Parkinson's Disease with a moderate to severe case of dementia. He also has congestive heart failure, high blood pressure, and he must wear adult men's underwear. He likes to watch horse racing and just likes to listen to what's going on. The ideal day would be like any other day for a regular (Someone who has no need for assistance.) person. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver needs to be able to show empathy as well as sympathy and also doesn't mind constant repeating of what they want the client to do. We'd love the person to have an outgoing personality that does not get offended easily. Also, the ideal caregiver should be physically able to move and/or adjust my father, especially from his hospital bed he hasn't home to the bathroom. He also needs help using the restroom, especially after having a bowel movement. There's no true specialized skills that you'll need and you don't need any specific hobbies or interests. The only thing we ask is that you take good care of my elderly father. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
