Looking for kind, experienced caregiver for my mom, whose main challenge is mobility. She is independent-minded and not thrilled about the idea of needing help, so we're looking for someone with a gentle, friendly personality who can earn her trust and ease her into accepting support, who feels more like a companion than a caregiver. She lives with my dad, who is helpful with her day-to-day needs, but is experiencing mild dementia. Although he doesn't need caregiving, the right person can offer some light support for both of them-especially around meals and daily routines. Help needed includes fall prevention and mobility support, medication reminders and management, light housekeeping and meal prep, dressing assistance, help staying physically and mentally active, simple wound care, occasional transportation to appointments.
