About the job

About who needs care: She had a stroke 4 years ago and is quadriplegic. She is unable to speak but understands everything, memory is intact and can respond to yes/no questions by nodding her head. She enjoys watching TV, listening to music and listening to us read her books. About the care needs: To be attentive, caring, soft touch when mom needs changing. To be social and interactive and respectful to moms decisions, although she may not be able to speak she does have opinions and enjoys interaction. To be healthy/fit enough to be able to turn mom to be cleaned (shes not that big 5 feet 130lbs or so but she is quadriplegic so she cannot help turn) Services needed include: companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
