My senior parents are in Deerfield and my mom, 78, has dementia. My dad, 88, is doing well, but looking after mom is getting harder at his age as her condition progresses. She wants to be driven to different places to walk throughout the day. So, I am looking for a caregiver that can come a few days a week for a few hours at a time. You would check on the house and do light cleaning of refrigerator and sink area, then take my mom to eat, then go to one or two places and walk with her (the beach, park), then back home. You would use our car. You would need to be local in Deerfield ideally and able to do 3 hour visits. Our care concerns are: Transportation, Light Housekeeping, Companionship, Errands / Shopping. Please be willing to do light housekeeping (clean fridge, check expired food, clean sink area, microwave).
