About the job

We need companionship and hands-on care for my mother in Wilton who has dementia and is under palliative care for cancer. Mom is very social and loves talking with people-looking for someone who is bubbly and enjoys providing companionship. Being home bound she isn't able to receive the social stimulation she needs. Ability to assist with showering, daily walks (uses walker) and willingness to do light housekeeping is required. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion to become part of our "family". Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. Prefer part time in the mornings and days can be flexible. Providing transportation for outings not required, but could be utilized, if available. There would be opportunity for additional hours as needs change.
