About who needs care: My partner, Jerry, has disabilities related to bad arthritic knees and uses a walker to ambulate. He has myasthenia gravis , which causes fatigue. He needs help with showering and dressing, preparing meals and laundry. He gets up each day by noon. He eats 2 to 3 meals per day. He takes a shower twice/week. About the care needs: A man caregiver would be preferable, but not exclusive, as Jerry is a big guy. He is very pleasant but doesnt need to talk all the time. He sleeps a lot in the day. He needs help getting up sometimes so caregiver needs to be sturdy. His interests include trains and planes. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
