About the job

About who needs care: My lovely grandma, has moved into my parents condo and has early dementia and Parkinsons. She has more recently began to need additional care and my mother needs help. We are looking for someone who is compassionate and willing to be apart of our family, as my grandma and mother will be in home and want it to be a safe space for her to evolve into this new phase of life. There will be occasional doctors appts, but we imagine it will take her some time to get used to driving with someone new. She is an incredible woman, and we look forward to meeting the right person. About the care needs: Were looking for a caregiver who is patient, compassionate, and experienced with dementia and Parkinsons care. Its important to us that this person is a safe and reliable driver, as transportation may be needed, and that they can be flexible with their schedule as our needs may shift over time. Most of all, were hoping to find someone who wants to become part of our family and stay with us for the long term, for as long as our family is living in California. Bonus if you are willing to help her be active and take her on fun adventures. Also, again my mother will be home, so you will be spending time with her as well but she doesnt need care Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
