About who needs care: Senior living in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) who has a paralysis condition that leaves her recently unable to walk independently. Cognitively capable and pleasant personality overall. Current needs include accompanying medical appointments and other support needs. About the care needs: Patient caregiver who enjoys conversations with elders and is willing to advocate for seniors as needed in public outings during medical appointments and medical transportation rides. Punctuality, commitment and accountability is essential for medical appointments. Our senior mom would prefer someone who does not have conservative political viewpoints associated with current administration. She has human-centered core values that focus on compassion and care based on her own religious upbringing but is not affiliated/associated with current conservative political ideology. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
