About the job

About who needs care: Laura is 87 years old and has dialysis Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. She needs someone to help her prepare for those appointments. A caregiver must arrive by 5:30 a.m. to make her breakfast and do light housework. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, she needs help with laundry and more thorough apartment cleaning and organizing. Any caregiver must be female, with English as their first language. About the care needs: Caregivers should not be prone to gossip, bring family members to work with them, or be racist towards Black people. Also, they must be punctual, professional, and not be on their phones while working. They must communicate strongly, be reachable, and know how to make beds. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
