Looking for an weekend caregiver for our 30-year-old autistic son in Pleasanton. He is verbal and independent and in many ways high-functioning but occasionally has behavioral episodes. Care is needed from Friday evening to Sunday evening, including overnights in his apartment. Duties include companionship, basic meals, light household tasks, and being present for safety and structure. Experience with autism and behavioral needs preferred but not required -- as well to be calm under pressure, and able to communicate clearly. DSP/CPI training a plus. Competitive pay based on experience.
