We are finally home after evacuation. We need hands-on care to help my husband: bathing, personal care, including toileting, is required; sometimes he needs help eating. Heavy lifting if he cannot stand on his own to transfer. **PLS DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CAN'T HELP TRANSFER Need a strong caregiver who can do transfers from wheelchair to toilet: patient is 170 lbs and strong, but sometimes reluctant to stand. Someone with mobility training is helpful; he does PT 2 x a week and we get him up & walking or on the exercise bike other times. He has a neurodegenerative disorder: this may be Lewy Body dementia, but it is not identical to Alzheimer's. Can have mood swings. Looking for a kind and patient companion. Prefer a non-smoker and comfortable with/not allergic to cats and a dog. This job is for 2 weeks daytime June-July but may extend.
