About the job

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a warm and gentle elderly woman living with ALS. She is wheelchair-bound and has limited use of her arms, requiring assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities: Assist with transferring in and out of bed (using transfer aids as needed) Support with toileting and hygiene Help with dressing and grooming Prepare meals and assist with feeding Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with light housekeeping related to her care Requirements: Prior experience caring for individuals with ALS or limited mobility preferred Experience with transfers and personal care Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Must be dependable and comfortable working in a home setting
