About the job

About who needs care: Use a walker and have balance issues. Sometimes have trouble speaking. Often feel dizzy or foggy as result of neurological disorder. Need help with completing physical therapy (spotting), taking daily walks, getting lunch, prepping dinner, transportation to doctor appointments and maintaining a level of activity and activity structure. Cannot do household chores (laundry, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, mopping, etc.) or has great difficulty with tasks. About the care needs: Need someone who is physically fit enough to spot so we can prevent excessive falls. Someone with a calm demeanor and positive attitude to motivate activity. Knowing how to spot a person during physical activities such as walking, exercise to maintain balance. We have a dog and a cat so any interest in pets is great for conversation. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
