About the job
We're seeking a compassionate, experienced live-in caregiver (6 days/week, Saturdays off) for our 64-year-old mother who has right-sided paralysis from a stroke in 2020. Duties include medication management, transfers, bathing, personal care, light housekeeping/laundry, meal prep, and therapy exercises. Nighttime care is rarely needed, but overnight presence is important. Includes a fully-furnished private bedroom, bathroom, and living room. Must drive and have your own car. Non-smoker, no drugs/alcohol, and comfortable with dogs (no personal pets allowed).
