About the job

About who needs care: The care is for my mom - she still lives at home with my 82-year-old dad, but my dad could use some assistance during the day. My mom has dementia and doesn't always remember my father (her husband of 64 years). The days of week and hours may vary depending on how my mom reacts to the care and as her needs change, and how much the family can assist. I would like to maybe try for a few weeks and then re-access. About the care needs: Someone with experience caring for a person with dementia would be beneficial, they need to be patient and firm but kind. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
