About who needs care: This individual is 38 years old and had an aneurysm a bit over a month ago. He went through brain surgery, was in ICU and is currently in an acute rehab facility. He will soon be discharged but will need in-home care/supervision and support for the following: - Steady balance as he walks (he can stand on his own two feet and put weight on it, but may veer off to the side and may lose balance) - Going to the bathroom - Taking showers - Supervising meals (he can eat/feed himself, but supervision is ideal) - Memory loss & safety He currently does not need to take any medications or need drugs administered. He does not have any tubes. Primary language: English About the care needs: We'd want someone who speaks fluent English and can carry a conversation smoothly and in a friendly manner. The patient is intellectually curious and may ask questions. The patient also enjoys playing boardgames, brain/mind games, which would be helpful for his memory loss. Services needed include: transportation, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
