Female Caregiver Needed For My Wife At Home

I'm looking for a full time or part time Female Caregiver for my fun loving wife that is available to work from Monday through Friday and possibly some Saturdays and Sundays and possibly some overnights. My wife is 61 and had a massive stroke 6 years ago.. She's in a wheelchair now. She needs help with activities of daily living ADLs. In addition to ADL assistance the ideal person would be patient, compassionate, able to adapt to various temperaments, have a good sense of humor and an overall pleasant demeanor. My wife is full of life, has a big heart, great sense of humor and enjoys a variety of interests, including movies and music (R & B, soul, pop) . The person applying for the position must have previous caregiving experience, preferably with post stroke recovery or similar injuries, able to use an electric Hoyer lift for transfers from bed to wheelchair and able to help with light exercises. Some understanding of holistic health & various healing modalities would be a plus! The candidate must also have an interest in assisting and encouraging my wife with exercises and activities. Reliability, honest and dependability are a must in addition to having a clean background. I can be flexible with the hours. Compensation starts at $18 per hour or based on experience.
