About the job

About who needs care: My father is diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and has a few health complications. He is currently using a wheelchair but is working towards walking again with the assistance of PT and OT. He is interested in tennis and going to the movies. Ideally, in the morning he would like to work on his PT exercises and get out of the house, and in the evening things tend to settle down a bit. About the care needs: The ideal caregiver is someone who has an easy going personality and likes to be active. They would need experience helping someone with limited mobility. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
