About who needs care: My grandmother is diabetic and has been experiencing memory loss for recent memories. She needs the support of caretaker would could come by her apartment a few times a week to make sure she has enough groceries, is taking her medications appropriately, and to do a general overall check in which a caregiver can report back to my family on how she is doing. About the care needs: It would be helpful to have a caregiver who has a warm and gentle personality. Sometimes my grandmother can become anxious so someone who is able to talk calmly is a must. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
