About the job

We need hands-on care to take care of my father in Lafayette. He is bed bound and will remain that way. He is in the final stage of his life, with probably 2-3 months to live. our family will be visiting frequently as will his longtime girlfriend. We need help during the day, particularly on bathing and bathroom visits. Given this, our role requires someone strong enough to lift/assist a 165 pound male out of bed and onto a commode. Responsibilities also include meal prep for lunch and dinner. Additionally, we're looking for someone to provide companionship and warmth for him when we're not around to help.
