This role is about building a close friendship, social skill-building, and quality time, both at home and on outings. We're seeking someone who is compassionate and lively with a good sense of humor to provide true and meaningful companionship to our 22-year-old daughter. Someone who loves getting out in the community and attending various events while supporting a young woman who is hard of hearing with moderate cognitive impairment and ataxia (balance and coordination impairment). Availability needed on evenings and weekends, variable hours on some weekdays-flexible. Hours will vary by week and by activity- approx. 5-12 hours per week, ongoing. Our SDP FMS (Accura) requires a separate live scan, background check and basic CPR Patience is a MUST!! If this sounds like the right fit for you, we would love to hear from you!
