About the job

About who needs care: My parents could use help with errands and possibly companionship, they enjoy gardening, art, books and conversation. They need to keep up some very light activities and also could benefit from making sure there is some fresh food in the house. Dad follows a strict diet for his medical needs - uses certain store bought premade products for this but mom does not. About the care needs: Dad doesn't hear very well, even with his hearing aids. Communicating requires patience, and speaking clearly and slowly enough to be understood. My parents both like to tell stories, sometimes the same ones - so listening and talking are great. They like music and history as well. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
